The Ferguson service is a ‘Guaranteed Fixed Price’ premium service. Our Franchise Owners are intimately involved in the marketing of the Ferguson services as well as relationship building with their customers throughout the local community.
At Ferguson Moving & Storage we know that our system is only as strong as the partners that are involved. During the franchise discovery process you can expect:
- Information & Application Phase: we get to know each other!
- Site Selection (Protected Territory) Phase: Select and create a territory based on availability
- Disclosure & Due Diligence Phase: questions, phone calls, reviews & making sure it’s a good fit.

Becoming a Multi Unit Franchise Owner
The majority of Ferguson Franchise Owners are Multi-Unit Owners who enjoy larger protected territories and are looking to grow their businesses. Multi-Unit Franchise Owners must be willing to invest into their businesses by adding additional moving trucks, managerial staff, and teams of professional movers.
Becoming a Single Unit Owner/Operator
A Single Unit franchise is available for the ‘hands-on’ operator who wishes to undertake the ‘day-to-day’ moving as well as enjoying the satisfaction of being his or her own boss.
The Process Moving Forward
At Ferguson, we want you to work at a pace that works for you! We understand that investing in your own business is a big decision and one that should be made with as much detailed information as you and you require. We welcome regular contact and embrace open dialogue throughout the vetting process to ensure every question you have has been answered to your full satisfaction.
Once you have fully understood the Ferguson Moving & Storage business model, you are comfortable with the terms and conditions of your franchise agreement, have your funding in place, we will then arrange to have you attend “Confirmation Day” and sign your franchise agreement.
Once your franchise agreement is signed our team gets to work to ensure you are set up for success. Your training and onboarding into the Ferguson Moving and Storage family begins the moment your agreement is signed.

The capital required will vary depending on the business model you choose.
We offer both Single and Multi-unit opportunities and depending on your preference you will be looking to invest between $90K and $150K including working capital!
